Just one day after its global release, Alien: Rogue Incursion, a Virtual Reality title set within the world of Alien, has become the subject of controversy. Specifically, the controversy is related to a stealth update to its Steam storefront page, where it has been revealed that Rogue Incursion is Part 1 of two planned games.

As shared on Twitter by a VR content creator, Rogue Incursion's Steam page did not previously make mention of a planned sequel. However, it was updated to reflect that this game is now a two-part series.

In the wake of this update, its developer, Survios, has been accused of misleading business practices. As a result, the game has dropped to "Mixed" on Steam, with one review labeling the game as the "Scam Of The Year."
