Stardew Valley's giant 1.4 update is finally available for console.

Stardew Valley's latest update includes a good amount of content. This includes a movie theater that is unlocked in late game, 14-heart events for every spouse, and new events and dialogue, including a new heart event for Caroline. Clothes can now be tailored and dyed. There is also 24 new hair styles, including bald heads, and fish ponds that allows players to breed fish and produce items. There is also a huge number of new items. This includes 181 shirts, 35 hats, a Mini-Jukebox, and tea bushes, tea leaves, and green tea.

A number of changes were also made to Stardew Valley's multiplayer mode. This includes the option to split money in multiplayer, support for private chat messages, and separate mailboxes and spouse porch area.

The update also comes with a number of quality of life improvements, such as the ability to rearrange the museum without donating a new artifact, the ability to reread letters, and a notification when a tool being upgraded is ready. There is also a good number of balance changes, fixes for gameplay, NPCs, multiplayer, and more. You can read the full patch notes for Stardew Valley's latest update here.

Stardew Valley's 1.4 update originally released for PC last month. Multiplayer came to the PC and Nintendo Switch versions of the game last year. The mode released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this past fall. There are also no plans to bring multiplayer to the mobile versions of the game at the moment. The PlayStation Vita will not receive the multiplayer mode.

Stardew Valley's 1.4 update is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The update will likely come to iOS and Android in January. The update will not be available for PlayStation Vita players.
