An architectural mishap during a chicken coop upgrade in Stardew Valley has left players baffled and amazed at the resulting building. The building designs in the indie farming and life simulator look great but are generally focused on being functional rather than aesthetic. This glitch, though, changes the design of the chicken coop to something that would look perfectly at home in an M. C. Escher painting.

A Stardew Valley player who goes by pokegirl275 on Reddit shared an image of their glitched-out chicken coop, with the apt title "Merry Glitchmas." The coop doesn't seem like it stayed that way for long, but the captured screenshot shows it looking like it's made of strips that were put together incorrectly. Pokegirl275 is not complaining, though, instead finding it hilarious, exclaiming "What a fancy design!"

The chicken coop in Stardew Valley is usually a fairly boxy, straightforward building that's utilitarian in nature and style. Thanks to this glitch, though, the upgraded version of the building gains a whole lot more personality.
