It seems as though the free PlayStation Plus games for December 2024 are the least popular of the year. PlayStation Plus subscribers get new free games every month as part of the Essential tier. Sometimes these free PS Plus games are big hits with fans, but other times they miss the mark for subscribers.
The free PS Plus games for December 2024, available to claim until January 6, 2025, are It Takes Two, Aliens: Dark Descent, and Temtem. It Takes Two is a critically-acclaimed co-op game, winning Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2021. Aliens: Dark Descent, meanwhile, is an RTS set in the sci-fi horror Aliens franchise, while Temtem is a Pokemon-like MMO. While there is a great deal of variety when it comes to the free PS Plus games for December 2024, it seems that the free games on offer this month have not really captured the attention of subscribers.
PlayStation Plus subscribers will be losing access to one of the service's best games on Tuesday, January 14.
