A Pokemon fan artist has recently devised a pre-evolution for Vulpix, turning the already adorable Fire-type creature into an even cuter baby. Baby Pokemon were introduced in the second generation of Pokemon games with Pichu, Cleffa, Togepi, and others, and have been fairly popular in fan art, especially for fans who want to come up with unique pre-evolutions of prominent critters.
Vulpix is a Fire-type Pokemon originally introduced in the first generation of the franchise’s games, but it was only obtainable in Pokemon Blue, where it could be captured in Routes 7, 8, and the Pokemon Mansion. While Vulpix never received an official pre-evolution, it evolves into Ninetales when exposed to a Fire Stone. In the seventh generation, Vulpix received an Alolan variant, an Ice-type monster with white fur, which could evolve into a Ninetales with the same type when using an Ice Stone.
