Niantic has announced that Pokemon Go has increased its maximum limits for Item and Pokemon Storage, allowing players to carry even more than before.
Mainline Pokemon fans will rarely fill their PC Boxes. It’s only players who breed a ton for perfect competitive ‘Mons or Shiny Legendary hunts. The average player will likely only capture a mix of ‘Mons for their Pokemon journey, before leaving it behind.
Pokemon Go is different, with players catching creatures daily in a live service game without end. This is one of the ways Niantic monetizes the game, as it’s possible to buy upgrades for the storage boxes, allowing for more to be carried.
With 2025 soon ending, Niantic has announced that Pokemon Go has increased the cap for the Item Bag and Pokemon Storage. Those with PokeCoins or cold hard cash can boost their boxes right now.
Pokemon Go’s Item & Player Storage Have Seen Huge Increases
Both storage types in Pokemon Go have been increased by 500. This brings Pokemon Storage up to 9,300 and the Item Bag up to 8,300. These cost 200 PokeCoins per upgrade stage.
