Niantic recently released an update for Pokemon GO that increased both the Pokemon and item storage cap by 500. While this is definitely a welcome change for Pokemon GO fans, it has caught many in the community by surprise.

As the year draws to a close, Niantic is organizing a slew of new events in Pokemon GO. The holiday events in Pokemon GO added some exciting new shinies and costumed variants. Not to forget, the highly anticipated Delibird Community Day was also held in Pokemon GO in December. However, some of the events haven't been well received in the community. For instance, fans were unhappy with the Christmas spawns in Pokemon GO. Meanwhile, Niantic has made another change to the game which a lot of players will be happy about.
