Activision has confirmed that the highly-anticipated Call of Duty x Squid Game collaboration will be released on January 3, featuring new limited-time modes, weapon blueprints, operator skins, and more. Call of Duty's collaboration with Squid Game was announced earlier this month and will now be released just one week after the launch of the show's second season, which is available to stream right now on Netflix.
While it's not quite on par with the many Fortnite collaborations, Call of Duty's Squid Game team-up is just the latest collaboration to be featured in Activision's hit first-person shooter. In recent years, Call of Duty has collaborated with various horror franchises, including Scream and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, hip-hop artists such as Snoop Dogg and Nicki Minaj, and even world-famous footballers like Lionel Messi. There's likely many more collaborations to come in Call of Duty's life cycle, and the next one is right around the corner.
