Arc System Works has announced that the Nintendo Switch version of Guilty Gear Strive will add its latest DLC character, Queen Dizzy, for free as part of an upcoming update. 2021's Guilty Gear Strive is one of Arc System Works' most popular fighting games. Four years after its launch on the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S consoles, Strive is finally coming to the Nintendo Switch platform in January 2025. The port contains 28 playable characters at launch, which includes the game's first three seasons of DLC.

While the Nintendo Switch version of Guilty Gear Strive doesn't support crossplay with the other platforms, rollback netcode is installed for players to enjoy relatively stable online battles. Players of the Switch version will also be getting the first character of Strive's fourth season for absolutely free.
