A new trailer has dropped for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and it features an excited Isabelle.
The new trailer for the upcoming New Horizons is introduced by Tom Nook himself, as he advertises the "Deserted Island Getaway Package," which features the island that the game will take place on. Not much is shown, though we get to see the usual Animal Crossing gameplay. The trailer shows trees covered in fruit, a villager cutting down a tree, and another villager building a dirt pathway. The trailer also shows a number of potential NPCs that will inhabit the island with the player, including a very excited Isabelle. Not much was shown, but we were reminded that New Horizons will definitely scratch that Animal Crossing itch that we have had for awhile. You can check out the trailer below:
Animal Crossing: New Horizons will include many features that players have come to expect from the series. This includes fishing, gardening, and interacting with NPCs that move onto your island. Players will be able to customize their home and character, and shape the island to their liking. There is a new crafting system for players to utilize. Using materials that they find on their island, players will be able to craft everything from furniture to tools.
New Horizons will also feature a new multiplayer system. Up to eight players will be able to reside on an island. Four residents of the same island can play together simultaneously on a single system. Up to eight players will be able to play together on one player's island through online multiplayer or local wireless.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons will release for the Nintendo Switch on March 20th. The game was originally meant to release earlier, but was delayed into 2020. While there have been a few spin-offs and a mobile game, New Horizons will be the first proper Animal Crossing game in nearly 7 years.
