Valve Insider Has Good News For Half-Life Fans

A reputable insider recently claimed that Valve could “quite possibly” reveal Half-Life 3 in 2025. This is excellent news for Half-Life fans, as the community has been asking for a sequel for two decades, with many fans starting to lose hope.

The first Half-Life was released in 1998 and is often considered one of the best FPS games of all time. While the title had two expansion packs, Opposing Force and Blue Shift, it would only get a true sequel with Half-Life 2 in 2004. The game’s story continued with Episode One and Episode Two, and a third installment was planned but eventually scrapped. In 2020, the VR game Half-Life: Alyx was released, but a true sequel was not yet officially announced.
