A brand-new mod for Grand Theft Auto 5 has added a fully functioning version of Grand Theft Auto 4's Liberty City map, complete with pedestrians, vehicles, ambiance, and more. The mod is available to download for free for both Grand Theft Auto 5's single-player and for FiveM, a popular online component that allows fans to play on customized and dedicated servers with a variety of mods and special features.
Despite being over a decade old, Grand Theft Auto 5 remains one of the most popular video games on the market. In its eleven-year life cycle, Grand Theft Auto 5 has sold 205 million copies, according to Rockstar Games' parent company, Take-Two Interactive, making it the second-best-selling video game of all time. While Minecraft remains the best-selling video game of all time with 300 million copies sold, it could have some stiff competition in the coming years as Rockstar Games is currently gearing up to release the next installment in the GTA franchise, Grand Theft Auto 6, which has a release window of Fall 2025.
