According to a recent retail listing, Nintendo may be planning on releasing a new 3D Super Mario game and a new Legend of Zelda remake for the Nintendo Switch 2 by the time 2025 is over. While various indie games have announced plans to release on the Nintendo Switch 2, only one big Nintendo-published game has been confirmed for the platform so far.
When Nintendo unveiled the Switch 2, it chose to only showcase a single game for the new system. As confirmed by the Switch 2 reveal trailer, a new Mario Kart game is in development for the home console/handheld hybrid. Of course, Nintendo undoubtedly has more games in the Switch 2 pipeline for the console's launch and beyond, though those titles have yet to be announced.
