Not Tonight, the post-Brexit management sim about working as a bouncer, is on its way to Nintendo Switch this month, and as bleak as its vision of Brexit may seem, it's not all bad; it comes with free DLC. Bundled as Not Tonight: Take Back Control Edition, the game comes packaged with its One Love DLC chapter for Switch buyers. Fittingly, it arrives on the platform on the same day the UK is scheduled to leave the European Union, January 31.

Developer PanicBarn released a cheeky trailer that depicts Boris Johnson himself happy to introduce the game's Switch release. Check out his glowing endorsement below.

Not Tonight puts players in the role of a gatekeeping club bouncer in a post-Brexit world. The game doesn't shy from its political leanings and in fact is referred to as "anti-Brexit."

In a press release, publisher No More Robots summarized the setting. "Citizens of European heritage have been rounded up and exiled. Forced out of your previous life, you find yourself in the midst of a frantic gig economy, manning the doors of pubs, clubs, festivals and parties, and fighting to scrape by and return to the city you call home."

Players can improve their apartment and their wardrobe, turn away patrons or let them in, and survive a gig economy all while they weigh the benefits and detriments of joining a resistance movement through a simulation which promises "every decision matters."

The DLC, One Love, continues the story and introduces new gameplay mechanics and new locations. Collectively, the bundle will be sold on Switch for $24.99.

Not Tonight first launched on PC on August 17 of 2018 to "Fair" reviews on OpenCritic. From nine critics, the game averages a 74 score. It's likely the Switch version will bring new critical eyes to the game, so expect the game's reviewer pool, and possibly its average, to move in the coming weeks.
