Following years' worth of fan anticipation, Endless Legend 2 is finally official. The Endless Legend sequel has been revealed with a two-minute trailer and the promise of a near-future release, preceded by a multi-stage playtest.
Developed by France-based Amplitude Studios, Endless Legend was released in September 2014 to positive reactions, as underlined by its "Mighty" rating on OpenCritic, based on an average score of 84 and an 86% reviewer recommendation rate. Critics and players alike praised its innovative blend of gameplay mechanics and intricate lore, in addition to touting Endless Legend as one of the most hardcore grand strategy games ever made.

More than ten years later, Amplitude Studios announced Endless Legend 2 with an extended trailer that premiered in late January 2025. The game can currently be wishlisted on Steam but doesn't yet have a firm release date, though it's planned to debut sometime in early 2025.
