Developer GSC Game World has recently released a new patch for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. This is the latest patch to improve the game’s performance after the very successful, but somewhat bugged launch of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl.

Released in November 2024, STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl was a big hit. The title was the eagerly awaited sequel to the original STALKER trilogy released during the 2000s, and it was delayed for several reasons over the years, such as the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Despite the long wait, STALKER 2: Hearts of Chornobyl sold over a million copies in only 48 hours, and made a profit in less than a month. Since then, GSC Game World has been releasing periodic updates that have been correcting the game’s most pressing issues.
