Nintendo Music is a music streaming service run by the Japanese video game publisher, which collects soundtracks from the company’s flagship IPs. Released in October 2024, the service is available for everyone with a base tier Nintendo Switch Online subscription, and Pokemon fans can use the app on Android and iOS devices.
Fans can create their playlists and dive into an expanding library of music already populated with 23 soundtracks that were available at launch. The Nintendo Music app received a new update in November 2024, to fix issues on both Android and iOS platforms for a more seamless experience. Android users specifically received a solution that thwarted a bug hindering the application’s start-up on the platform, so fans can return to their favorite video game soundtracks.
