If you’ve been following along with our updates on these Dead by Daylight updates, you already know the important stuff in Patch 8.5.0, which has just been released. But lots of bug fixes appear in today’s patch notes, and there are a few new things we’ve spotted as well. As a reminder, the big changes in this patch are the updates to Freddy (AKA The Nightmare), including significant changes to both his Power and Add-Ons, and updates to the Beast of Prey, Fire Up, Remember Me, Vigil, and Wake Up! Perks.
One nice QoL feature that appeared in the patch notes for the first time today is an improvement to the Perk Search feature: You can now see Generic perks by searching “Generic”, “General”, “Universal”, or “Global”; a few acronyms now work as well (STB and BTB).
