Super Mario Party Jamboree itself is still fantastic, but the mixed new content of the Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV re-release adds frustrating limitations and strange design decisions to what was otherwise a polished, customizable experience.
Super Mario Party Jamboree - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV gives an already fantastic party game a huge shot in the arm, with a bunch of brilliant Mouse Mode and mic-based games that also allow you to see your big silly face as you play. It's all very knockabout, very easy to use, and very easy to enjoy.With a huge base game packing seven boards and a whole bunch of modes, and the Switch 2's new tech adding to the fun in meaningful ways, this is a thoroughly delightful and totally family-friendly way to party Mushroom Kingdom-style.
Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition más Jamboree TV proves how to do console upgrades right. Instead of just visual improvements, Nintendo added features that genuinely use the Switch 2's unique capabilities. The camera integration and new modes like Show de Bowser couldn't exist on original hardware, making this a true evolution. Team gameplay and compact matches add real strategic depth beyond cosmetic changes. For regular Mario Party players, the social transformation justifies the upgrade. Seeing real-time reactions creates memorable moments impossible elsewhere in the genre. Main limitation is requiring additional camera hardware, though core experiences work with just the integrated microphone.

Super Mario Party Jamboree + Jamboree TV is Nintendo's most complete party game, but it debuts on Nintendo Switch 2 with some qualms and questionable decisions, such as a lack of technical improvements to the Switch game or an overly limited GameShare option. But make no mistake: it's still the party king.

Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV takes the beloved boardgame series to new heights, emphasising the Switch 2's focus on social play while making the most of the new camera and the Joy Con 2's great mouse controls. Not all of the DLC's content are essential, relying on gimmicks that you'll quickly tire of, but as a whole package, this is a great next step for Mario Party.
Jamboree TV expands Super Mario Party Jamboree with new modes, mini-games, and Switch 2 features like microphone and camera support. It's chaotic fun with friends, but underwhelming solo. The additions are enjoyable but far from groundbreaking. A perfect party game-if you've got the right crowd.

Honestly, there’s a good chance you’ll love all of it, even if I didn’t. If you’re looking to dive into the latest generation of Mario Party games, the Jamboree TV Switch 2 bundle is the perfect way to do so.
The base game returns in its complete version, enhanced by the Jamboree TV expansion, which dramatically increases the amount of content included in the package. Not all of the new features seemed particularly impressive, but all things considered, it's still one of the best party games on the market.
