In short, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach has not only met my expectations, but has also been a title that has almost touched excellence in numerous sections , although it has lacked a bit of originality in its gameplay section . The narrative section and its progress have felt very good, especially with the presence of its antagonists, adding very important roles.

Rematch has everything it needs to become the ultimate arcade soccer game, but it's in desperate need of a technical overhaul. The ideas are there, the fun is there, but the issues overshadow the virtues. Hopefully, with a patch or future updates, the game will resume after this hydration break, or else we'll be forced to go to overtime.

Yakuza 0: Director's Cut proves that great video game titles can find new life on unexpected platforms. While the new features don't fully justify the premium price tag for veterans, it's still an essential experience for any player who hasn't visited the streets of Kamurocho.

Dune: Awakening is exactly the type of game the industry needs more of: ambitious, respectful of its source material, and willing to take real creative risks. It's not perfect, and it's definitely not for everyone, but for those who connect with its vision, it offers a genuinely unique experience. If you're looking for a casual survival game you can play an hour here and there, this isn't your game. But if you want to lose yourself in one of the most convincing and complex virtual worlds ever created, Arrakis is waiting for you. Funcom has created something special here: a game that honors both Frank Herbert and the survival genre, and sets new standards for what ambitious MMOs can achieve when developers truly understand their source material.

While my goal was to play Phantom Liberty straight away, I've put aside the DLC to re-immerse myself in Night City on a screen smaller than 8 inches, demonstrating the enormous potential it has for multiplatform titles. A new way to rediscover one of the best video games of recent years, without any technical issues or shortcomings compared to the home console version.

Elden Ring Nightreign is a tremendously unusual venture for a challenge giant like FromSoftware. As a sort of hybrid of a battle royale, a hero shooter, and the Souls-like genre itself, Elden Ring Nightreign stands out as a very solid experience in FromSoftware's catalog that could offer the developer a lot of potential.

This new installment has some graphical and gameplay improvements compared to 2025, but the most important aspect is the implementation of Braking Point 3, the third part of the story mode, which has a decent plot, although nothing special. Its gameplay remains consistent, but that’s not a bad thing since we’re talking about a work developed by Codemasters, and few know how to make better racing games than they do.

Playing Onimusha 2 in 2025 has been a surprisingly satisfying experience. Despite its technical limitations from the era, the core of the game remains just as addictive. Its focus on strategic combat, the depth of its characters, and its fascinating setting make it a unique experience. This remaster also serves as preparation for the new installment announced by Capcom, which could signify a renaissance for this forgotten but beloved saga. If you've never tried Onimusha, this is the perfect moment to discover why it has such a dedicated fan base, and understand how it influenced later games like Devil May Cry itself. In conclusion, Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny Remastered is a journey to the past that proves good games, like fine wines, get better with time.

Deliver At All Costs offers an adventure that goes beyond simply going from one point to another delivering packages. The incredible physics, missions with completely varied mechanics, and outstanding gameplay make delivering packages of strange origins more fun than one might imagine at first glance without knowing anything about the game.

Playing the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. trilogy in 2025 is experiencing a piece of video game history. Its somewhat clumsy controls, outdated interface, and occasional technical glitches are reminders of another era. But paradoxically, these elements contribute to creating that unique atmosphere of post-Soviet desolation that few games have managed to replicate. The remaster does an excellent job preserving that identity while improving what's necessary to make the experience more accessible to modern players. It's not a complete reconstruction as we see in other remakes, but rather a respectful update that understands that much of the charm of these games lies precisely in their peculiarities.

The Precinct goes beyond offering a police simulator and offers an entertaining cycle of work days while we clear the streets of criminals and unravel the mystery of their history. The chases are fabulous and worth a try for just that, although its shootouts and other on-foot mechanics aren't as polished. A very enjoyable and addictive 1980s open world.

Returning to play Deacon St. John and exploring the dangerous lands of Farewell felt like a trip back in time to 2019. The experience was more rewarding than expected thanks to its new features, extending the hours of enjoyment beyond the game's main plot even further. Days Gone Remastered delivers on absolutely every front, proving itself to be a more than adequate remake, not only for existing players but also for new ones who decide to delve into it.

DOOM: The Dark Ages has managed to distance itself enough from Eternal to avoid being overwhelmed by its legacy and create its own that lives up to what the series needed: a third installment that feels like a DOOM, but not the "nth" DOOM. Almost like a fascinating mix between a first-person shooter and a hack and slash, id Software has created something unique... again.

Expedition 33 is one of those experiences that redefine your concept of what an RPG can be. What Sandfall Interactive has achieved in their debut is simply astonishing: a narrative that captivates you from the first second with adult characters facing complex moral dilemmas; a revolutionary turn-based combat system that transforms each encounter into a strategic dance full of tension; and a visually stunning world that masterfully blends Belle Époque with dark fantasy. The conversations at the campfires have made me laugh, cry, and reflect on life itself. Its bosses have challenged me like few games manage to do. And its soundtrack continues to resonate in my head weeks after finishing the adventure. More than a game, it's an interactive work of art that will remain in my memory for years. Without exaggeration, one of the best debuts from a studio that I've seen in decades as both a player and critic.

Maliki: Poison of the Past is a game that pleasantly surprises. It offers an innovative combat system, a visually charming world, and charismatic characters. Its flaws, while present, don't overshadow the many things it does well. For fans of the webcomic, this game will be a delight, allowing them to explore the Maliki universe from a new perspective. For newcomers, it's an excellent entry point to this franchise, with enough appeal to keep you hooked even if you've never heard of Maliki before.

Steel Seed is a competent and polished game that demonstrates Storm in a Teacup's growing ambitions. Its stealth mechanics, art direction, and precision of its basic controls showcase a studio that is increasingly mastering its craft. However, its excessive adherence to formulas established by major studios limits its potential to truly stand out. I enjoyed my time with Steel Seed despite its limitations. Its lack of originality may be its greatest weakness, but it also makes it an accessible and familiar experience for fans of the genre.
