Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. Steam Launch Trailer, PS4 2.01 Version Released

SEGA brought out the Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O.  launch trailer today before the launch of the game tomorrow in the west. With the version of the game already battle tested at the massive first Frosty Fraustings XVII’s competition last weekend, Akira and the rest of the World Fighting Tournament gang are coming to the PC / Steam front without the need to be a Yakuza minigame.

In addition to this, SEGA has also released the Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown 2.01 update for PS4 users. Replays are fixed and back in the menu.  On the character, Vanessa is probably the biggest change with several of her moves brought into refinement. Brad, Aoi, and Goh, are also big gainers here. Sadly, PS4 users might not be getting the “burning souls” theme song sung by Daytona USA’s Takenobu Mitsuyoshi at the begining. Replays themselves are always a welcomed item for die-hard competitive gamers, though.
