Reddit user cookiemaster221 (as reported by ComicBook) has spotted a sign that the Nintendo Direct will, in fact, happen and that it's likely scheduled for February 4.
The Reddit user shared a screenshot of Sava Data Transfer maintenance planned for Tuesday, February 4 from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Pacific Time. In the past, Nintendo has often preceded their Directs with maintenance of this kind, suggesting that the potential date for the Nintendo presentation may be coming as soon as next week.
