After officially being announced around six months ago, Sassy Chap Games’ Date Everything! turned the idea of a dating simulator on its head by literally living up to its name and letting you date, well, everything. Ever thought that your vacuum cleaner may secretly have a crush on you? Or perhaps your fridge may be interested in being more than just a storage container? No? Well, at least Date Everything! makes you think of the possibilities.

Unfortunately, yesterday’s announcement regarding the game leaves those anticipating its release with some mixed feelings. Sassy Chap Games and Team 17 posted on social media that Date Everything! would miss its perfect February 14 release date and suffer a delay to June 2025. This is actually the game’s third delay since its initial announcement with its first release window set for October 2024.

In the aforementioned social media post, lead designer Ray Chase stated they are hard at work on the game and feel the game has reached its optimal state.

Furthermore, Chase mentions he became too confident they could test all the content and pathing prior to February 14, but this was not the case and thus need more time to make sure...
