Developer Rocksteady confirmed in late 2024 that support for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League would be coming to an end in 2025, though a new, unexpected update just dropped for what is undoubtedly one of the biggest video game blunders in recent memory.
Criticized for its live service approach as well as its lackluster story, Suicide Squad: Kills the Justice League is a game that never quite got its feet off the ground. Initial sales for Suicide Squad came in way under expectations, something that would eventually cause problems for Rocksteady as well as the game's publisher, Warner Bros.
