Nintendo has expanded its Nintendo Music catalog with more tracks from the legendary Super Mario World game. Over the years, the famous game studio has built one of the most recognizable and celebrated gaming and music libraries in the industry, with both its games and soundtracks permeating deep into pop culture. This is especially true for the Mario franchise, including Super Mario World, which stands out as some of the most iconic in Nintendo’s storied lineup.
Nintendo launched its music streaming app in the latter half of last year, exclusively for Switch Online members, with 23 soundtracks ready for use at the time of its release. Available on iOS and Android, the app offers a range of unique features, including themed playlists, like Powering Up for workouts, and a spoiler setting to prevent fans from hearing tracks from unfinished games. For the company’s collection of catchy tunes, it also allows users to loop songs or extend tracks for up to 60 minutes.
The Nintendo Music app removes several tracks from the service, all of which originated in the Splatoon ink shooter series.
