Nintendo recently released its financial report for the first nine months of the 2024/2025 fiscal year, covering up to December 31, 2024. As usual, the company provided updates on hardware and software sales, giving an overview of its performance. Overall, the results were below expectations, with hardware and software sales falling short.
In the report, Nintendo announced an operating profit of 247.5 billion yen, with ordinary profits of 327.1 billion yen. The Nintendo Switch has now sold 150.86 million units globally, while software sales for the console reached 1.359 billion units, heading toward 1.5 billion.
