Valve Rumored To Be Developing Console To Take On PlayStation, Xbox

While multiple dedicated home gaming consoles are already available, do you have room for one more? If a new rumor is to be believed, Valve, the owner of the Steam digital storefront, is also said to be developing its own console.

The news comes from reliable leaker eXstas1s, who has previously leaked various Xbox-related news that turned out to be the real deal.

Can Valve Carve A Piece Of The Home Game Console Market?

In a video, eXtas1s mentioned that Valve is now working on a new console that will directly compete with Sony's PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox. Valve is allegedly working close with AMD to use their RDNA 4 tech for the new console.

Outside of that, nothing much was shared. While we'd usually avoid these larger-than-life claims, the leaker has a good track record, so this rumor bears consideration at the very least.
