Pokémon TCG Pocket Player Adds AR Photography To Cards, Creating Stunning "New Genre" According To Fans

A Pokémon TCG Pocket player has digitally changed their cards, adding AR photography to them in what fans of their work are calling a “new genre” for the game. The virtual Trading Card Game is continuously expanding and has just recently seen the release of the new Space-Time Smackdown cards, which are focused on the fourth generation of games and the Sinnoh region. The game has also just recently introduced the trading feature and is continuing to add new events for players to partake in.

There isn’t a lack of new content for players to explore, but fans’ creativity never stops working. One of them customized some of the existing Pokémon TCG Pocket cards with exclusive artwork made by their own AR photography that was captured in Pokémon GO. As seen in a Reddit post, the user FeelTheDango shared their creations, highlighting several of the cards that currently exist within the virtual Trading Card Game, overlapped by AR photos they took from the respective creatures in Pokémon GO.
