Diablo 4 is Now Selling Pets

Non-combat Diablo 4 pets have been added to the in-game shop in the form of the Pale Perry and Quillgem Scamp bundles. Blizzard is known for selling in-game pets, mounts, and more in World of Warcraft, but this is the first time pets have been featured in the Diablo 4 shop.

The Pandaren Monk and Lil' Kel'Thuzad World of Warcraft pets were originally added in 2009 and since then, Blizzard has experimented with microtransactions for its games. Before this, most Blizzard microtransactions revolved around services like moving and renaming characters, faction changes, and more. Non-combat pets are nothing new to the Diablo series either, with many pets offered as drops, event rewards, and BlizzCon goodies in Diablo 3. The Hratli Canine Pet and Natalya Tiger Pet are also included in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred's Ultimate Edition. Now Blizzard has released its first non-combat pets in the Diablo 4 shop with the Pale Perry and Quillgem Scamp.
