Kick streamer Adin Ross is hosting his own Streamer Awards show during 2025. Although Adin Ross is known for being a controversial voice in the streaming community, permanently banned from Twitch in 2023, he sought to give the platform competition after signing a Kick deal. Ross appears motivated to host his own events going forward after experiencing success in his recent endeavors.

Adin Ross' take on a livestreaming award show could fill a gap that QTCinderella seems to be overlooking. When QTCinderella's 2024 Streamer Awards were announced, Emiru chose not to attend, expressing disagreement with the way she was nominated. Although Emiru was nominated for two major categories, including Streamer of the Year, she seemed frustrated to be left out of the Sapphire Award, which is dedicated to female contenders. Emiru referred to herself as the "token" woman for Streamer Awards nominations, ultimately deciding that the event wasn't worth her time. Plenty of fans supported Emiru's decision, suggesting that favoritism may be plaguing the Streamer Awards.
