Marvel Rivals is getting new skins for two of its characters this week, and fans are already eating them up. As a live-service game, skins are Marvel Rivals' microtransaction bread and butter. They completely alter a character's appearance, sometimes also changing their animations, so players can have a greater degree of customization over their preset characters. What's more, since skins are all over Marvel Rivals' battle pass, they serve as a way for players to show off their accomplishments along with their style.
And the catalog of available skins is set to expand soon, via the official Marvel Rivals X (formerly Twitter): on February 6, Marvel Rivals is getting new legendary skins for Captain America and Luna Snow, a Vanguard and Strategist hero respectively. Cap's new skin is based on his appearance in the film Avengers: Infinity War. Luna's skin, Mirae 2099, gives her a purple and pink look, complete with headphones and long, two-toned hair extensions. Both skins will be available in the in-game store beginning at 6 PM PST/9 PM EST on February 6.
