The latest Final Fantasy XIV Letter from the Producer, streamed live on February 7, revealed a lot of new content coming to the game next month. The next update to the massively popular Final Fantasy MMO will bring new locations, raids, events, and more fun new ways to interact with the game's world.
FFXIV's Patch 7.2, called "Seekers of Eternity," is scheduled to come out in late March, and it will continue the story of the protagonist and their entourage as they travel across the new lands of the West. The update will bring new content to explore, the beginning of the Cosmic Exploration feature that was teased last year, and so much more. Game Director Naoki Yoshida, known affectionately by the community as Yoshi-P, provided a breakdown of what to expect, according to 4Gamer.
During the presentation, Yoshi-P unveiled more information about the upcoming Cosmic Exploration feature, which sees FFXIV exploration extending to the stars (again). The new feature will task players with developing different planets similar to the Ishgard Restoration from the Shadowbringers expansion. Players will work together to change the planet in stages, but also allow newcomers to look back on the progress the community...
