Millions of Call of Duty Players Are Missing Out on Double XP Weekend

PlayStation players feel cheated out now that they can't access Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone's Double XP weekend. While players can make decent progress on most days with a couple of matches, Double XP weekends are usually accompanied by big events that entice people to try out Call of Duty. PlayStation players are in an unfortunate position.

A new Black Ops 6 and Warzone Double XP event has launched, giving players until February 10 to enjoy the progression boost. In addition to doubled player and weapon XP, the Gobblegum earn rate has been boosted. Furthermore, Multiplayer and Zombies are offering all participants a limited trial for a selection of maps. Because there's so much going on right now in Call of Duty, having access to functioning servers is important. However, an entire section of the game's player base doesn't have much of a choice in that matter.

As the global PlayStation Network outage enters its 18th hour, fans the world over lambast Sony over its lack of status updates.
