PlayStation fans angry over the ongoing PSN outage can get some consolation in the form of a free glazed donut from Krispy Kreme. Sony's internet service has been out across the globe for hours, leaving PlayStation users unable to use features like online multiplayer or streaming platforms. While the unavailability of PSN is certainly frustrating, at least gamers can get a sweet treat for their troubles.
The PSN outage began around 6 PM EST on Friday, February 7. Almost a full day later, many users still can't connect to the service, although there are reports of the network slowly coming back online in some areas. The cause of the downtime is still unclear, as is whether Sony will offer anything to PSN subscribers to make up for the issue. If Sony doesn't take any action, at least Krispy Kreme is giving gamers something to look forward to if for only a moment.
