Our trust in Insider Gaming has grown, now that their secret source’s claim about Nightreign news coming today has proven correct. The official pre-order trailer has dropped, along with the news that the game will be available for $39.99 USD on May 30th (Steam says May 29th, but presumably that really means 11:59pm given the official announcement states May 30). We also got some info on the Deluxe Edition, including the unfortunate news that some content may be fully locked unless you shell out an extra 15 bucks.
Much of the footage is stuff they’ve already shown us. There are a few new tidbits that hint at some of the class abilities, however. A mage characters showed us a bit more of their moveset, and an assassin-style character appeared to damage a foe a second time by summoning a ghostly version of the enemy that took the same damage that the foe was just dealt — seems like a really fancy way to just do double damage, but hey.
