As of the most recent PlayStation State of Play, the long-awaited DLC for Lies of P has received a new trailer, revealing new gameplay footage and a release window. Originally released in September 2023 and developed by Neowiz Games, Lies of P quickly became one of the most positively received Soulslikes to not be developed by genre originator FromSoftware. After the game's release, it was announced that it would be receiving DLC, but little had been heard since.
As revealed in a new trailer shown during the PlayStation State of Play on February 12, Lies of P's DLC will be titled Overture, and is set for release at an unspecified date in Summer 2025. The brief trailer, which shows off new areas, bosses, weapons, and abilities, gives a few vague hints about the story, implying that Overture will be set in a different time period from the main game, with most of the areas on display taking on a winter theme.
