Those who want to try Mortal Kombat 11 will be able to do so this weekend.

NetherRealm Studios has announced that a free trial for Mortal Kombat 11 will take place throughout this weekend. The trial will run from March 5-9, and will be available on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The trial will not be available for those who own a PC, Nintendo Switch, or Google Stadia. No specific details were given about the free trial, though if it is like past trials, it will include the first few Story Mode missions, and all the multiplayer modes.

Those who wish to buy the game will be able to at steep price cut on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The base edition of the game will cost $23.99 on those platforms throughout the weekend. The Nintendo Switch version of the title will not receive the same sale.

Mortal Kombat 11's free trial weekend coincides with Final Kombat 2020, which takes place this weekend. This tournament will bring together the top 16 players in order to see who is truly the best. The tournament will take place in Chicago, Illinois. Special guests will include Todd McFarlane (creator of Spawn), Keith David (voice of Spawn), and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (voice of Shang Tsung). During the weekend, on March 8th, gameplay of Mortal Kombat 11's latest DLC fighter, Spawn, will be shown off.

Spawn will be the latest and final fighter of Mortal Kombat 11's Kombat Pack. The other fighters in the pack were Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, The Terminator, Sindel, and most recently, The Joker. Spawn will be released on March 17th for Kombat Pass owners, and a week later for everyone else. There is the possibility that we will see the announcement of another Kombat Pack, especially since Mortal Kombat 10 had two Season Passes.

I have been playing video games for as long as I can remember. I am a huge fan of JRPGs, though I also enjoy fighters. I have been writing about video games for a few years now. If it has a great story, I am sure that I will dig it.
