We now have an idea of how Spawn will fight when he makes his way to Mortal Kombat 11 this month.

At NetherRealms mostly cancelled Final Kombat event over the weekend, a new trailer was released for Mortal Kombat 11, showing off Spawn. The trailer shows that the Hellspawn will have a number of tools that he will use to take out his opponents. This includes his signature cape and chains, as well as a large number of guns. You can check out the trailer here. The trailer also features two new songs from the heavy metal band Trivium. "IX" and "Scattering The Ashes" can be heard during the trailer. The songs have not been released in full just yet, and will be featured on the band's upcoming album, What The Dead Men Say

Keith David, who originally voiced Spawn in the award-winning animated series, will reprise his role. For those who do not know, Spawn was a former U.S. soldier and assassin. Simmons was betrayed by his comrades and was viciously executed. He then found his way to Hell. Simmons made a deal with the Devil in order to see wife again, but had to join the forces of darkness as a hellspawn, and help lead them when they marched upon earth.

Spawn will release on March 17th for Kombat Pack owners, and a week later for everyone else. He will be the last character in the Kombat Pass. It is unknown if there will be a second Kombat Pack for Mortal Kombat 11. Kombat owners will also receive a Spawn-inspired skin for Jacqui Briggs. Players will receive a skin pack dubbed the Matinee Skin Pack, which includes skins for Kotal Kahn, Erron Black, and Jacqui Briggs.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. While we have not heard anything yet, news of a new Kombat Pack may come soon. Mortal Kombat X featured two Season Passes, so it would not be surprising if Mortal Kombat 11 featured than one Kombat Pack as well.
