Namor in Marvel Rivals uses an ability called Monstro Spawn that summons what appear to be octopi, but there are a few voice lines in the game that also refer to them as squid.
These turret-like mollusks seem to confuse even the heroes in the game, and fans of the title have come together to discuss the true identity of these "angry octopi." A recent Reddit post from Neat-Ad2953 stated that "Every single voice line" refers to Namor's Monstro Spawn as squid, which is not correct. Fans were quick to jump into the comments to defend the heroes that do refer to the ability correctly, while others made jokes about how even a brute can outsmart a scientist.
