Continuing with its weekly tradition of giving out free games, Epic Games Store is offering a fun, and free, cozy game for users to download during for the last week of February 2025. The Free Games Program has been operating for five years now, providing a rotation of games from its vast library that users are able to download for free if it is something that jumps out at them. For the end of February 2025, one of those games happens to be a high-rated cozy game from 2021, Garden Story.
Garden Story will be available for free on the Epic Games Store from February 20–27, 2025. The cheerful game set in a world of pastels lets players take on the role of Concord, the youngest grape in The Grove, who is now appointed to be the new Guardian of The Grove and help restore the island. While a dangerous invasive Rot is threatening homes, Concord and their friends must work to rebuild the community and fight back against the Rot. The game was considered one of the best indie titles of 2021, and continues to be enjoyed by many today.
