Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on PC has received Patch 3, which brings a stop to a number of visual and performance issues affecting the newly released port of the 2023 original. It is the third major patch rolled out for Spider-Man 2 after its PC arrival on January 30.
Unlike Spider-Man 2's PS5 launch, the PC version of the action-adventure game was bogged down by several technical issues when it hit storefronts last month. Despite featuring the same highly rated game under the hood, the Nixxes Software-developed port received flak from players, whose experience had been marred by various major and minor bugs, early on. However, things have changed for the better since then, as a series of hotfixes and patches have improved Spider-Man 2's state on PC. On Steam, the superhero title has already gone from having "Mixed" reviews at the time of launch to having "Mostly Positive" reviews at the time of writing. And Nixxes' devs seem determined to maintain that momentum with the rollout of another sizable update.
