Another remaster of a classic Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game could be in the works according to a source that will allegedly feature in the project. After years of hibernation, Activision surprised fans of the franchise by remaking both the original Pro Skater and its sequel, releasing it in 2020 to critical acclaim. Following such a successful return to the series, many have questioned why the publisher has yet to revisit the later installments, but it turns out that may finally be in the plan.
Speaking on The Breakfast Club podcast, per VGC, popular professional skater Tyshawn Jones claims he will feature in as-yet-unannounced Tony Hawk's Pro Skater remaster, but didn't specify which classic game Activision is revisiting. Jones, who appeared as himself in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2 in 2020, also notes that the game is "about to come out." As with all reports of this nature, fans are cautioned to take the information with a grain of salt; rumors about another Pro Skater game have swirled for ages but Activision has yet to announce anything.
