Split Fiction’s Newest Trailer Highlights Friend’s Pass

Prior to today, Split Fiction talked about when you bought one copy of the game, you could have a friend join in absolutely free online. Today, EA and Hazelight Studios released a trailer that explained the concept to help understand how you can accomplish that once you buy the game.

Pretty simple, when you buy the game, have your friend download the app Friend’s Pass on the platform they plan to play from. Once that is downloaded you can send an invite to them from within the game and they can accept. Now you and the friend can play together and they didn’t even need to buy the game. Most online games tend to force both parties to own the game. Having an option for your friend to just download a free app is an easier ask to play games with. Trying to get my friends to buy Granblue Fantasy: Relink for instance was always a big ask when they didn’t trust they would like the game or not.
