Keen-eyed Persona 4 fans may have just discovered evidence that a remake could be in the works after singer Shihoko Hirata posted that she was recording for a new game in Tokyo. While fans have been waiting patiently for Persona 6, it seems Persona 4 could be the next remake on Altus's schedule. The presence of Hirata (who was a vocalist on the original Persona 4) recording new vocals seemed to spark the fire to rumors of a remake.
A post on X by rudiger__tw shows multiple screenshots from Hirata's IG account, where it was revealed that the singer is currently working on an unannounced title. While this revelation is highly circumstantial and has very little evidence backing a Persona 4 remake being in the works, fans of the franchise are hopeful. Given that Persona 3 was remade more than a decade after its initial release, the possibility could be there, but the odds are quite slim.
