New Fable Game Hit With Big Release Date Delay

Initially slated to be released sometime in 2025, the highly anticipated Fable reboot has now been delayed to some point in 2026. Fans have waited for a new entry in the action RPG series for years, and while many were gearing up to get their hands on some fresh content this year, Fable reportedly needs a little extra time before it's ready to appear on store shelves.

The first in-game footage of Fable was revealed to eager audiences during the 2023 Xbox Games Showcase, and while many were happy to see the classic series making a return, not all comments were positive. Despite boasting impressive graphics and a stunning fantasy world, the trailer for Fable was quickly flooded with dislikes, with many lamenting the main character's appearance. Despite this, many in the community have remained hopeful about the title as a whole, with the Fable reboot promising to include both physical and magical combat, ample exploration, crafting, and much more. Unfortunately, players will have to wait quite a bit longer to try it out for themselves.
