Bohemia Interactive has released update 1.27 for DayZ across all platforms, with the patch adding large populated areas to the post-apocalyptic world. The zombie survival game has undergone many changes since DayZ was first released in 2013, with the latest update aiming to address some persistent bugs.
The last update for the multiplayer survival game was in October 2024, which formed part of the new Frostline DLC for DayZ. This update gave players access to the new Sakhal map, a frozen wasteland where gamers must fight against the elements to survive.
