Tekken Producer Harada Shuts Down "Disrespectful" Fan Who Criticized Anna's New Design

Yesterday, Bandai Namco confirmed that series veteran Anna Williams would be returning to Tekken 8 as part of the game's second season. The character, known as "Scarlet Lightning", has undergone a minor redesign as part of her latest appearance, dropping her usual skimpy, revealing outfits for a boujee fur-lined coat and leather pants.

While the new design has gone down well with the majority of Tekken fans, a vocal minority have been expressing their disappointment to series producer Katsuhiro Harada, who, in typical Harada fashion, has put them in their place.

On Twitter, one user tagged Harada and other Tekken developers, stating, "I don't like the new design; replacing Anna with this new character is the dev's way of getting back at Anna fans for all these years of support makes me feel sad." Naturally, this didn't go down well with the oftentimes outspoken Harada.
