To celebrate the ninth anniversary of Stardew Valley, developer Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone released a new update for the game's Nintendo Switch version with numerous bug fixes and new features. Stardew Valley fans can also look forwad to a new physical deluxe edition of the game for Nintendo Switch.
Although ConcernedApe is hard at work on his new Haunted Chocolatier game, Stardew Valley continues to receive updates and support. ConcernedApe even said that Stardew Valley could receive updates 50 years from now, due to his unwavering commitment to his successful first game. The developer also teamed up with Fangamer once more to release a new Stardew Valley deluxe edition for Nintendo Switch, and the Switch version received one of its biggest updates to date this week in the form of update 1.6.15.1.
