Having Performance Issues In Monster Hunter Wilds On PC? Capcom May Have The Solution

It’s safe to say Monster Hunter Wilds has been a huge success for Capcom, but players on PC aren’t all singing the game’s praises.

Despite Steam player numbers shattering Capcom’s records and even surpassing the all-time player peaks of the likes of Elden Ring and Cyberpunk 2077, Monster Hunter Wilds currently sits at “mixed” player reviews, with just under 50% positive reviews.

While there were concerns before release about the game’s lower difficulty relative to previous Monster Hunter games, that doesn’t seem to be the main thing players are having problems with.

There haven’t even been any significant server issues, despite the massive surge in players.

Most of the negative reviews are primarily targeting the game’s lackluster performance and optimization on PC, with even players well within its minimum requirements experiencing low and unstable frame rates.

Even players who found the game ran perfectly fine during the beta and in the benchmark are finding that the final product performs significantly worse – although even the beta wasn’t without its problems.
