Halo Studios Challenges Gamers To "Seek And Deploy" With New Tactical Shooter Mode Later This Year

Filled with tense matches and last-second clutches, Search And Destroy has become a staple of gaming and esports. Numerous popular multiplayer platforms, such as Fortnite, have decided to implement a S&D game mode, especially after the noteworthy success of titles like Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant.

Following this trend, Halo Esports recently announced their upcoming S&D game mode, which was designed with a distinct Halo twist. Halo Infinite’s version of the mode stands for “Seek And Deploy,” and many elements from the celebrated mode have been notably changed.

Releasing later this year, Halo Infinite Seek And Deploy poses players with yet another exciting rendition of the mode. Not only is the economy system reworked for Halo's unique style of combat, but the mode adds new features, like the ability to actually buy your way back into a match.

Additionally, a massive forge contest, with a $20,000 prize pool, is being conducted to promote the new mode, and push forge creators to craft awesome maps that may find their way into the game.
